Metaphysical Healing Properties of Unakite

Unakite is made up of different mottled rocks consisting of plain feldspar, quartz and green epidote so those attributed of those stones are also important when working with unakite. Metaphysically speaking you can use unakite like all of those above mentioned stones as well as what I describe below :)

Unakite is a stone of visions. Unakite is particularly good for helping one stimulate and open their third eye for deeper visions and psychic work. Unakite helps to provide a gentle release of blockages that have been inhibiting your growth. I recommend this is an important tool in any healers personal "toolbox" of gemstones.

Unakite is also known to absorb the "electromagnetic smog" given off by computers, monitors, television sets etc, so placing unakite near a computer or other electronic thing, it will help to clear the air!

Unakite is also awesome in connecting the lower and higher heart chakras, and brining healing and peace to the heart and circulatory system. It also can assist one in staying grounded through meditation and other work like that. It also helps pregnant women stay healthy and the female (and male) reproductive system, so unakite would make a wonderful gift for someone expecting!

Gardeners also love unakite as it helps gardens and protects them from disease. To me Unakite has a really loving, peaceful and calm energy to it.

Unakite can also help one in gaining weight. It helps the weight go to the"right" places in a healthy manor.

Crystals and gemstones can help you with all these things, and more!
When you feel good inside, you attract experiences that feel good to you. The old saying, like attracts like, is truly a wise old saying! The happier and more loving you feel inside the more happy and loving your outer world and experiences will be.
There are many techniques that you can do to attract more love into your life. Using crystals with some of those techniques will help to enhance the power of those things. For one, you can place gemstones or crystals in your environment to help shift your energy and release blockages in your spirit body. Larger crystals are wonderful for this type of thing. Crystals such as spheres, eggs, pyramids or clusters are great for radiating energy in a room or space.

Carrying around a pocket stone on you as a reminder to feel loving and happy is another good trick. I like to carry certain gemstones around with me every day, depending on what I feel I need for that day. If I am thinking about working on love issues, I will carry one of the love stones with me. I will give some examples of those stones, in a moment.

You can also say your affirmations while holding a crystal or gemstone. I suggest that you do this while looking into a mirror at yourself, holding on to your gemstone, and stating affirmations like:

“I am a loving being and radiate love outward.”
“I attract love into my everyday experience.”
“I am open to receiving love from the perfect man/woman for me.”
“Love is all around me, I feel it everywhere!”

Or you can make up your own affirmation, the most important thing to remember with affirmations is to keep them positive and state them in the present tense.

You can also place crystals or gemstones under your pillow or on your night stand. If you are like me, you may want to just hold them in your hand while you sleep. By doing this while you sleep the energy of the crystal has hours of time to integrate into your energy field. This enhances the power of the gemstone or crystal in your life.
The realm of crystal and gemstone work is very unlimited to your imagination so let your heart run free with this one!

Some gemstones that I love to use for the purpose of love are as follows:
Rhodochrosite is a great stone to help open the heart chakra and bring love and hope to a feeling of sadness or despair. If you are worried about never feeling “in love” again, or like you will never meet “the one”, then rhodochrosite will help you to release that fear and embrace the open loving heart energy.

Rose Quartz is an all around loving stone, it helps to open your heart chakra and restores trust between you and your lover. It is also a great stone to help you to feel self-love, which in my opinion is the beginning point to any love, one must love themselves first.

Jasper helps to stimulate your libido, allowing your sexual organs to wake up and spice up your love life. Red Jasper helps you feel less inhibited and passionate, so if your feeling the need to spice things up in the bedroom, then Red Jasper is the stone for you!

Chiastolite is a great stone for transforming conflict into a loving harmony. You can lay a piece of chiastolite on a picture of someone you are in a relationship with that the relationship is not doing so good and the chiastolite will help to transform the relationship into a more harmonious relationship.

These are some of the gemstones that I would suggest you use in your desire to attract love into your life, of course there are many others that work too. I think it is important to remember that having a positive outlook on things is key to working with gemstones and crystals. Their energies are often subtle but powerful and healing at the same time.

Obelisks are tall narrow four sided stones that have a pyramid shape at the top.

Because of the pyramid at the top they can be used to direct energy in a healing grid. You can use the apex of the pyramid to direct energy or placing the obelisk in your environment will help energy to radiate outward from the stone into the area it is placed. Obelisks were also prominent parts of ancient Egyptian architecture, the ancient

Crystals to Aid Depression

Got the blahs?
Feeling low on energy and not sure where to start to turn that blah feeling around?

Well what I do is turn to my crystals and mineral friends,,, but then again I turn to them in most cases.

Why you ask?

Because it works!

Here is a little list of some gemstones that I may use to help turn the blahs around and why I would use them... Try working with them in different combinations, and remember that everyone has a little bit of a different reaction to crystal and gemstone energies. Sooo if you feel like using something totally different, I say go for it!

Rhodochrosite - It is one of my favorite soothers of jumpy or anxiety energy... It helps calm me down and open my heart chakra. Place it on your chest or wear a piece of rhodochrsite necklace and see calm and peaceful you feel.

Malachite - This one helps to absorb the negative energies that may be surrounding you and it is also a powerful heart activator. Just make sure you cleanse it often because it absorbs the negative energy.

Black Tourmaline - This stone helps to put your feet back on the ground. A lot of times I see people are depressed because they feel ungrounded, this stone is a happy stone that will help you feel like your feet are firmly planted on mother earth. You can also use tourmalinated quartz for the same reason too!

Rutilated Quartz - This one helps you get some energy flowing... If you have been feeling sluggish, then this is the stone for you. Rutilated quartz opens and activates the energy chakras of your spiritual body and helps get things moving along again!

Garnet - Aside from this being my birthstone and I almost always have some garnet on me somewhere,,, it is a great stone to help aid in depression. It brings emotional balance to the person drawn to it and also encourages the person to be courageous. Anyone that has gone through depression cycles,, knows it takes courage to get out of it!

So those are some of my favorites to work with when I am feeling a little low on energy or have gone through my depressed cycles. I think it is most important to remember that whatever it is you are going through is only temporary and when you go through it, know that it will soon pass. Working with some crystals may likely help you and get that time to pass a little quicker!

Metaphysical healing properties of Stilbite

Stilbite is one of the zeolite stones, being related to apophyloite, heulandite, scolecite and other zeolites. The color ranges of stilbite are white, yellow, pink, orange, red and brown.

Stilbite is a wonderful stone that connects the heart chakra with the upper chakras. I always look at the chakras as the first three being the lower chakras, the heart chakra being in the middle, and the throat through crown as the upper chakras. Stilbite allows the heart chakra to connect with the upper three chakras when usually the heart chakra stands alone in the middle. Because of this effect stilbite has on the upper chakras, it allows us to bring heart into everything we work on within the realms of these three higher chakras.

This connection of stilbite allows us to tap into our creativity, using the throat chakra it allows one to bring love and openness to their creative flow. Stilbite is strongly connected to the third eye chakra as well, assisting one in the dream state, and allowing for pleasant dreams. For someone that needs help in falling asleep, stilbite can be used as a tonic effect on the mind. You can either hold a piece of stilbite in your hands, place it on your third eye or place it on the headboard of your bed to invoke the calming effects of stilbite in your sleep.

When stilbite and apophylloite occur together, this enhances the effect of their energy. This combination of stones, which is pretty common, will allow interdimensional travel from apophylloite to become more heart centered and gentler by the stilbite energy.

Mentally stilbite will help to de-clutter one's mind, it also helps one to focus on which tasks are most important to take on first. Stilbite allows the person to be free from too many external influences including fear, and assists one in making decisions and choices that are correct for the evolvement of this person's spiritual path. Stilbite will also help to allow one to make good decisions by showing them that there are no such thing as “wrong” decisions. It does this by allowing one to see that all decisions are part of the path of learning. This allows the person drawn to stilbite, to grow further and feel more confident, while releasing fear.

Physically, it is said that stilbite can help one to retain the understanding of knowledge. Stilbite also helps to balance the hemispheres of the brain, when balance has happened, this allows whole brain thinking to occur! It's been said that stilbite can help with ADD and ADHD patients because of the mental balance that stilbite releases.

I personally love stilbite, because of its soft loving, calm energy. I am particularly connected to the pink color of stilbite, as it seems to radiate a very warm, heart centered energy. I love zeolite stones but for me, I like to use them when I meditating or sleeping as their energy does not seem conducive to a very highly energetic, productive state of mind. So play with your zeolites, stilbite in particular, to see how it affects you. Try keeping a piece of it in your pocket throughout the day and see how you feel. For those that tend to run a little hot-blooded or overly energetic, stilbite may be just the perfect tonic that you need to relax you and bring calmness to your experience while working and focusing on the task at hand. For those that tend to be a little bit more relaxed in their approach to life (like I am), using stilbite in meditation or sleep may be better for you.

Cavansite is a beautiful blue color that ranges from turquoise blue to deep blue. The components of Cavansite are calcium and Vanadinite. It is a fairly new, known stone that was found in the 70s.

Scolecite is a very peaceful and calming stone, it emanates a deep and relaxing peace that travels throughout one chakras system and aura. This stone helps to promote a very relaxed and uplifted feeling, it is a wonderful stone to use in meditation, or someone looking to open there third eye chakra.

Scolecite is said to be one of the stones that will help you connect with extraterrestrial beings, if you want to. How to Make a Crystal Elixir

Crystal Elixirs

This article will explain what crystal elixirs are and how to safely make a crystal elixir with any stone!

Crystal elixirs are good when you want to absorb the energy of the crystal into your physical body. They are helpful at restoring the emotional, physical and spiritual bodies helping you obtain new levels of consciousness. Crystal elixirs help attune the physical body with the spiritual realms. By making a crystal elixir and then rubbing it onto your body or even drinking it, you can connect more fully with the energy of the crystals used to make the elixir.

Elixirs prepared in this way, are easy to make and requireonly very basic equipment. All you need to make a crystal elixir is a glass bowl (or two), distilled water, a patch of sunlight (or moonlight) and your crystal or crystals.

First set your intention of the elixir, for instance, I want to make an elixir to help me heal something on my body. I can choose a crystal that helps reduce pain or swelling or I also like to use quartz crystals if I cannot think of a certain stone for the purpose that I want it. Quartz can be programmed to do whatever you want it to do so that is a good one to choose. You can use any type of crystal or gemstone though.If you are using a gemstone other then quartz, you must do some research and figure out if that crystal is poisonous or not.

If it is one of the poisonous crystals that you cannot consume (like malachite, azurite,vanadinite, galena) or a type of crystal that shouldn't be in water (like selenite) then you can use the indirect method to make your elixir. By using the indirect method of making an elixir you simply place a smaller glass that has only the gemstone in it, inside the larger glass with the water that you are charging to be the elixir. If you are using quartz or another stone that you know is safe to consume, you can just put the stone in the glass with water and put it in the sun/moonlight for however long you wish.

Creating an elixir can be done creatively, you can add herbs or essential oils to them too, just be sure that if you consume them or put them on your body that everything you use in the elixir is non-poisonous!

Crystal Shape - Power Stones

Power Stones are large stones that can be polished on all sides, or can be in raw form. The purpose of having a power stone is to bring you a lot of energy of that particular type of gemstone that it is created out of, to you or your environment. You can use your power stones in healing or in meditation. Also power stones fit nicely in the whole of your hand, not just the palm like a little stone would.

Power stones are a perfect way to have the energy of that particular stone overflowing in the room! They tend to radiate energy outward from the center when placed in a room. Power stones are helpful at creating a shield of energy in any particular area. They are great placed on your desk or on or around your healing room as they radiate energy in a bubble around them.

I particularly like power stones because they are a nice size and can be used in many different ways. I also like that they are not easily misplaced like the little stones can be! Power stones also look beautiful sitting on the shelf. To me a size of a stone is not the most important thing about the stone, but since power stones tend to be larger they have a very amplified energy to them and when I charge one with Reiki it just seems to pour out from the stone in an almost palatable way.

Focus & Grounding Stones

I haven't been writing as much as I usually do the last couple months. At first I thought maybe it was just Mercury going retrograde and then that passed and then I thought wow, maybe I have writers block! I don't think thats it, as much as I have been sooooo attracted to these high energy stones. Stuff like scolecite, optical calcite and even this amazing clear obsidian stone that I found.. (I know for me that's a weird one) I have been carrying them around with me and sleeping with them, no wonder I am so flighty lately, I need some earthy energy!

Anyhow, I think I figured it all out.... It wasn't an outside influence over me, but rather these high energy stones helping me (who needs no help at this anyhow) live in my head even more. I really truly love the higher thinking and awareness of it all, it really helps me sort out things, but for writing purposes and focusing it isn't very productive!

So for today's blog I will be describing some of the stones that I love to help me through this weird transit of my life that I have been going through and help me get my feet back on the ground (as well as becoming more organized again!)

For starters one of my all time favorite stones that I use to help keep me grounded and feet firmly embedded into the surface of the earth is black tourmaline. Now I have heard someone tell me that they did NOT like black tourmaline, so this may be something you have to play with, but I personally LOVE it. I used to wear something black tourmaline CONSTANTLY, and now that I think about it, duh, the last couple months I haven't... I think that should tell me something as well as how floaty I have been.

Other really good stones to help you remain grounded, if black tourmaline isn't for you, are, snowflake obsidian and melanite which is a type of garnet, but its black (good stuff there) Snowflake Obsidian is great at bringing an earthy peaceful energy around, and melanite helps you be "real" to yourself and others, in that it helps you ground and then face stuff. Sometimes we can get grounded but not want to work on our stuff, just focus on the negatives instead of the positives.. Well melanite helps one to face that stuff in a grounded-healing sort of way!
I wouldn't suggest that you use just plain black obsidian (and of course this is my opinion), but to me black obsidian feels "too" earthy, if there is such a thing. It almost brings me down too much, just to a state of being boring-ish. Being the very airy person I typically am anyhow, this is something that makes me just feel too blah.. Of course others may have a different opinion on black obsidian, this is just mine.

Also, since my focus has been a little off, not only does that correlate to being ungrounded and having to do with being in love with the higher energy stones, it means I have too much floaty energy around me right now... So what I want to do is put to use some of that "over" energy and focus into an area for myself. The best stone for me to do this is fluorite. It is a great stone to have with you when you need your attention on something. For me, my attention is usually a computer, and well, fluorite also helps eliminate the EMF that comes from computers, so its specifically good for that! Which leads me to remembering to bathe my stones in the moonlight tonight!

I do have to be somewhat careful with fluorite, as not to actually sleep with it on me (I have lots of fluorite in my jewelery) because it gives me weird and vivid dreams. When I am writing or focused in an area, fluorite is the one to help me stay on task, but when I am asleep its too much for me. It is actually one of my biggest sellers in the store too. I think probably because of its beauty but I also think intuitively people know what they need and radiated towards that! (except me with the scolecite LOL)

How to cleanse your crystals

Many people have asked me this questions and I would like to share the ways I cleanse my crystals here. You can use any of the methods outlined below together or separately to cleanse and charge your crystals. I use all of these methods myself at different times of the moon cycles. Most of all with all things in healing intention is the key.

I find that my crystals are more powerful and energizing when they are clean and charged. I don't mean they get "dirty" in a physical sense but rather dirty with other peoples or things energies. Crystals and gemstones are living vibrational things that come from mother earth. They are respected and revered by many in the healing arts. Anyone that has held a crystal in their hands will understand why I call them living. They vibrate to subtle but powerful energies and assist with healing, manifesting and many other things.

Below are the different ways to cleanse crystals, feel free to read through these ways, and even submit your way you cleanse crystals below so I can add that to the list of ways we cleanse our crystals.

Sea Salt
Sea salt is one of the most common and effective ways to cleanse your crystals. You can either use sea salt with or without water to cleanse them. Some stones should not be placed in sea salt water so if you choose this method please be sure to check to make sure your crystal or gemstone can be put into water. A good rule of thumb about this, is the stones that are harder and more glass-like (IE quartz or fluorite) are often times tolerant of water and the softer stones (IE selenite, malachite or opals) that are more like rocks are not. Another good tip to know is generally speaking crystals that end in *ite are not good for cleansing with water. You can refer to a good gemstone book like "Love is in The Earth, a kaleidoscope of Crystals" by Melody for finding which stones are OK to use in water and which aren't.

You can either place a tablespoon of sea salt in a tablespoon of water, I like to use natural spring water for this and leave the crystals in the sea salt water for 24 hours. Or if you choose the dry sea salt method you can also simply place the crystals or gemstones in the sea salt for 24 hours, if they have points be sure to place the points down as to release the negative energies back to mother earth.
Both methods of cleansing with sea salt is very useful and works well, one last thing to mention though is be sure to use natural sea salt not regular table salt because regular table salt contains other minerals such as aluminum and other minerals. Also when using this method be sure to use a glass container not metal or plastic to hold the sea salt and your gemstones in.

Moon Cycles
I almost always use this method to clear and charge my crystals. The moon light from a full moon is especially powerful at cleansing your crystals and recharging them. I suggest putting them outside on the night of the full moon and taking them back into the house before noon at least because after the noon day sun it becomes draining to the crystals energies. You can also place them outside during a new moon and cleanse them that way. I like this method of cleansing my stones because every two weeks there is a full or new moon and I am always reminded at that time to cleanse and recharge my crystals.

Sun Light
The Sun can be a very strong energetic way to cleanse your stones, but it can also be draining to them if left out for too long. Some stones will fade in the sunlight so again refer to a good book like mentioned above to know which should only have limited sun rays. Stones like Rose Quartz, Agate, or Smokey Quartz and other brightly colored stones may fade so be careful when using sun light to clean these. I suggest not leaving the stones out in the sunlight for more then 8 hours at a time as well.

Mother Earth
You can bury your crystals in the earth and leave them there for 24 hours. Crystals and gemstones come from the earth so when you use this method it is as if you are giving them a little vacation from home and they are rejuvenating and reviving themselves as they spend time back in the earth. Be sure to mark your crystals where you bury them as to not loose them and also remember that the earth contains moisture so for those stones that should not be put into water it could affect or scratch them. You can also get a container of earth and place that container of earth in your home while you bury your crystals and allow them to recharge, this method is good for those living in an apartment or somewhere they do not have a yard of their own.

Running Water
This method is great for those crystals that can withstand the water and you are in a rush to clean them. Simply place the crystal under the running tap water and close your eyes imaging all the negative energies that the crystal picks up are being washed down the drain by the running waters. When you feel the change in the crystal, which might feel like a tingle or simply your mind clearing then the crystal is cleansed.

Smudging
You can use sweet grass, sage, or even incense to smudge your crystals. Simply pass the crystals through your smudging stick or smoke from an incense and it will be cleared of negative energy. The Native Americans use smudging as a way to clear and cleanse many things including crystals.

Citrine
Citrine is a stone that never needs cleansing of it's own in fact having citrine with other crystals and gemstones will help you to keep those gemstones cleansed. You can also place your other stones on a citrine geode or basket full of citrine tumbled stones for 24 hours and the citrine will cleanse the stones of unwanted energies.

Candle Flame
You can also cleanse your crystals tossing them through a candle flame. Be sure that they land on a pillow of some sort on the other side as not to get broken or harmed and remember that some crystals may get damaged with this method but I included it here because it is generally a safe and effective way to quickly release all the negative energies your crystals have picked up.

Crystal Shapes - Pyramids

Crystal Pyramids can focus energy in a tight beam through the apex of the pyramid. You can use this pyramid energy beam to charge other crystals, objects or people and also to preserve objects.

Pyramids are helpful at deflecting negative energies. You can place a pyramid in a room to help shield the area with a vibrant energy. The type of gemstone or crystal that a pyramid is made out of will reflect the type of shield that it gives off, for a heart centered stone it will radiate that heart energy, for a grounding stone it will radiate grounding energy etc. Clear quartz pyramids can be programmed for any type of shield.

Crystal Shapes - MerKaBa Crystals

I use one of these in the middle of my healing & dream grids, and many people have recently asked me what they mean,,, so here goes! I sell some of them in my crystal store, the one above is made of labradorite, i just looooveee the fire in it! The one I use in my healing grid is a rose quartz and the one in a dream grid that I also have is sodalite :)

MerKaBa Crystals
This is a star tetrahedron consisting of two interpenetrating three-sided pyramids that form a three-dimensional Star of David. Symbolically, it links the mind, heart, and body in a way that produces the MerKaBa. This term means "chariot" in Hebrew. In the eighteenth dynasty of ancient Egypt, it meant MER (rotating fields of light), KA (spirit) and BA (soul).

MerKaBa activated the protective love of the Universe and awakens, heals, and transforms on the spiritual, mental and emotional levels.

You could hold one of these crystals while meditating and meditate on the symbol of the MerKaBa, use this image to help your meditation and feel like you are inside the crystal.

Crystal Shape - Spheres

Since I have become a "Rock Pusher" as my friends so lovingly call me, I have gotten a lot of questions from people about the different shapes of crystals and what they mean.

So I have decided to start a series of blogs here about the different crystal shapes, so people following can learn about the different shapes and why they might want to use a certain shape for a particular reason.
I will randomly add a new shape, either natural formation or cut shape to the blog, I will begin each one with Crystal Shape - (Insert Shape) so if you want to look at all of them just search for those blogs that start with that or in the tags click on Crystal Shapes to find them :)

This blog is going to be about Spheres!

Crystal balls, also known as crystal spheres, represent the Universe and all within it.

Spheres represent the whole person. They send energy in all directions and are the most unified of all crystal shapes.

Some uses for spheres are in places of group gatherings either small or large, offices, healing rooms etc. Spheres have also been used to purify and fill the gaps in the auric field. Small spheres can be used in ones healing practice and place in the body or over the chakras to balance. Larger spheres are for scrying or radiating of energy in its presence. Spheres aare known as windows to faraway places and can assist one with observing the ethereal realms or accessing the Akashic Records.

Crystal Balls are known to move energy in all directions so having a crystal ball on your altar or in a space that you want to fill with that crystal or gemstones energy then putting a crystal sphere there is a great way to do that!

Metaphysical Healing Properties of Rhodochrosite

Rhodochrosite, sometimes spelled rhodochrocite also, is a often a pink stone, but can be red, orange tan or brown as well. It often times has veins of white or even tan traveling through it, it can be clear or solid in nature.
Rhodochrosite is known as a very loving and high energy stone. As Melody calls it in her
book, 'Love is in the Earth', it is "the stone of love and balance". This stone has many
wonderful attributes to it, one being it can easily balance and align your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies with one another. It is a wonderful healer to the heart chakra and will gently open and purify your base and sacral and solar plexus chakras as well.

Rhodochrosite is also used in meditation, when it is used to meditate with one can feel much peace and tranquility in their meditation. It is said that it can connect you with your twin soul when used in meditation and put you in a golden sphere of ecstasy.

Rhodochrosite is an excellent stone for love and relationships. It is also wonderful for those that don't feel love or loved. It is said to attract a soul mate to the holder, but not necessarily a soul ate that is full of passions, and happiness, but rather one that is what is needed for the individual on a soul level. Sometimes our soul mates are not what we perceive to be the most joyful of relationships we have, but they are necessary for the growth of our souls.

Rhodochrosite is wonderful at lifting ones mood and lightening up their attitudes. People find it hard to stay depressed when wearing or carrying a piece of Rhodochrosite with them. It vibrates a strong loving energy that it is hard to feel negativity in its presence. It also acts as a wonderful healer to the emotional body Allowing one face the truth about oneself and others, but with a loving and positive awareness, not a negative one.

Physically Rhodochrosite will help to heal migraines if placed at the top of the spine. It also purifies the circulatory system, kidneys and invigorates the sexual organs.

This stone has been instrumental for me in my own healing and connecting to the true meaning of love. I just love this stone, even looking at it is calming and peaceful. I suggest that all healers have this in their healing tool kit.

Releiving PMS/Cramps with Crystals

So a lot of my own crystal work has been experiences with my own healing and need of help. I have discovered, collected and used crystals for many different ailments. Just like medicine, some medicine works on some people and doesn't others.... Some crystals work well with some people and some crystals not so much. (Of course I'm not telling you to not go to the Dr here either!)

What I AM saying is,,, EXPERIMENT! Work with your crystals, carry them with you, meditate with them, wear them in jewelery, make grids... Experiment with what you are given on my blog, on my website and any other places that you can find information about crystals! Everyone is different in their reactions to crystals and how they work on themselves. What I write in my blog and on my websites about crystals is a collection of knowledge of experience with crystals myself. So what works for me might be a little different for you... Just try all of it and note what works best for you! That is the beauty of crystals and gemstones, is that you can try many different ways to heal the same symptoms and figure out what works best for you.

So today I am faced with the lovely task of being a woman. YAY,,, dang that Eve for eating that apple, right? I know every woman has said that more then once in their life, probably more like once a month is more accurate. As I sit with myself wondering how to help myself, aside from the typical Reiki treatments...

My mind automatically turns to crystals and rocks,,,, so I grab my piece of chrysacolla and lay it on my tummy, stick hematite in one pocket and mugglestone in the other,,, and ask the universe to allow the crystal to do its job and help me heal! Slowly my cramps start to subside and I get inspired to write about it here. I will be carrying these crystals in my pockets all day and I have a larger piece of chrysacolla that I have already put on my desk to just radiate its energy to me as I travel through this time of being a woman!

I find it helpful to work with these stones in this time of the month, but I also know there are other stones out there that can help too..... Stones for when your feeling emotional are rose quartz, rhodochrosite, rhodonite, kunzite, moonstone and jade help too! Don't fret if you don't have a certain stone! Stones have a magickal way of appearing in our lives when we need them to most, so just look around, see whats on hand and what calls out to you when you need it and go from there.

Metaphysical Healing Properties of Vanadinite

Vanadinite is strongly connected to the earth chakra. It's color is from a caramel color to brownish red. It is usually found growing on a matrix like the above picture. The particular piece of vanadinite shown above sits in front of my monitor helping me to accomplish the tasks at hand.

One of vanadinite's most powerful energies is to help one to accept their physicality. It does this by grounding and centering the soul into the physical body and assisting it to be comfortable in the earths environment. Vanadinite is a great manifesting stone. For those that with to connect further with the earth energies vanadinite is a helpful tool to do so.

Vanadinite is a great stone for those that are facing long hours of work. I often hold my vanadinite in the above picture and just let the energy of the stone travel through me, for an extra lift when I am working late. It is an energizing stone that helps your lower chakras spin vibrantly.

In healing with work, vanadinite works well with the first, second and third chakras. It can help to stimulate creative energies, by the energy of and connection it has with the earth and the fire it contains to help one start it will prove to have a lasting effect on someone that is called to using it.

Vanadinite contains lead so it is a poisonous stone if put into the mouth. I am always careful to wash my hands after handing vanadinite as well. I caution you to do the same. That said vanadinite works well as an INDIRECT ELIXIR, which means it does not actually touch the water that you make the elixir with, but rather by sitting next to the water, the water will absorb its energy and work for you. I have charged water like this and used it on the soles of my feet before strenuous activity or long walking. The endurance of the energy of vanadinite and the energy it gives you is wonderful.

Vanadinite is also helpful in the aid of waking up your sexual energies. It is a great stone that will give energy and passion to those that are called to using it for this purpose.

Vanadinite also promotes order in ones life, if feeling particularly scattered or undefined, having vanadinite in ones aura as often as possible will help. It helps one to define their goals and stick to them in an orderly manor. It can also help one that is prone to overspending, by placing a piece of it in your wallet or your purse, you will be less inclined to overspend!

Vanadinite is associated with the astrological sign of Virgo.
